2. Chicago’s new bike share system Divvy is Chicago’s bike sharing system with 4,000 bikes and 400 stations across the city. Intended to provide Chicagoans with an additional transportation option for getting around the city, Divvy is fun, easy, and affordable.
A bike sharing system consists of a fleet of specially designed, heavy-duty, very durable bikes that are locked into a network of docking stations located throughout a city. Divvy bikes can be rented from and returned to any station in the system, creating an efficient network with many possible combinations of start and end points.
With thousands of bikes at hundreds of stations, Divvy is available for use 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The station network provides twice as many docking points as bicycles, assuring that an available dock to return your bike is always nearby.
Come visit Village Cycle Center with the coupon and your membership card for Divvy Bikes to receive $20 off all in stock helmets. Not sure how to properly wear a helmet? No worries, check out our blog post on Bicycle Helmet 101.
Offer is not valid with other sales or coupons, rider must provide proof of yearly Divvy membership.
