The New Trek Farley is Here!

2014 Trek Farley

2014 Trek Farley fat bikeThe all new Trek Farley is finally here! After a long wait for Trek to come into the fat-bike market, they introduced the Farley. It has everything you need to tackle any climate and adventure. At only 31 pounds it is much lighter than competitors, is well balanced front to back and is race ready!

We have been waiting a long time to get our hands on one and now it is finally in the store. The Farley is well equipped with Surly Rolling Darryl Rims and Knard 3.8 Tires to keep you floating above the snow or sand depending on the Chicago weather. The SRAM drivetrain and Avid Hydraulic Disc Brakes keep the Farley rolling over anything keeping the bike dependable and lightweight.

The stance and color scheme is awesome, Trek did a great job matching up key components with the paint  and made the green really pop off the gloss black. Check out more photos below.

The Trek Farley is a great all around fun bike if you are looking for something to tear through the snowy streets this winter or take to the beach in the summer or even participate in some cyclocross or mountain bike races. The lightweight aluminum frame and fork is comfortable and keep the bike just under 31 pounds and the price-point makes it accessible for anyone interested in purchasing a fat-bike.

Stop by the store to check it out for yourself!
